Nigerian afro-pop star Davido has been named as one of the
performers of the 2019 Essence Festival.
The 2019 Essence Festival marks the 25th anniversary of
Essence Festival advancing the African-American music culture.
Davido, who headlined a sold-out concert at the O2 Arena in
January, is not the only African act perform at the Essence
Festivals.
Other notable African acts performing include, Sauti Sol, Vanessa
Mdee, and Nasty C.
The event, which will take place from the 4th to 7th of July in
New Orleans, will be hosted by comedian, talk show host and
actress Loni Love.
