Fulani herdsmen strike in Benue again, kill 11

Fulani herdsmen, again, in the early hours of Saturday, attacked Tombo village in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State and killed 11 persons.

The latest attack came barely five days after the New Year invasion of six communities in Guma and Logo Government Areas of the state where no fewer than 50 persons were murdered in cold blood by the herders.

Yamu, the police spokesman gave the names of those killed as: Terhiletyozua, 45 years; Mlahaga Tse, 65; Chiangi Tyozua, 40; Kwaghve Baki, 70; Suushater Kwaghve, 7 years and three months; Tortue Tsehemen, 52; Tsav Zahemen, 38; Aondohemba Shaku, 25; Francis, 22; and one other person yet to be identified who said to be a visitor.
