Tramadol is a narcotic-like pain reliever. It is used to treat moderate to severe pain. Studies have shown that, Tramadol can slow or stop your breathing, and may be habit-forming or other person using the medicine without a prescription.

However, the abuse of the drug is getting out of hand among the youths in Ghana. Some y mix the drug with energy drinks and other alcoholic beverages or take them raw as sexual enhancers.

While some believe Shatta Wale call is a good cause, others lashed out at him, claiming he led the youth to abuse the drug, calling him ‘king of Tramadol’.

On Friday 25th May 2018, in an interview with  Reggae sensation David Oscar, he stated that its a good course Shata Wale has started to campaign against Tramol but half must be directed to his fans as they are all patronizers of the drug.
His angry by the abuse of the drug especially with fellow artiste who “is teaching that fans tramol life should stop”.
So i shall encourage to support the campiang to stop, “tramadol abuse” as it dosnt gurantee a better futuer for us.

But then, Shatta Wale is not the first celebrity to caution the youth about the damming effects of Tramadol as several celebrities have joined the fight in order to keep the Ghanaian youth alive including Samini,David. However, we’re optimistic about fruitful outcome to fight drug abuse.
