Director of Hospital Services, Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) Dr. Adebimpe Adebiyi gave the advice on Wednesday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja. She said home remedies such as gargling hot saltwater, taking various vitamins, antibiotics, and others for the prevention and cure of coronavirus may cause adverse health effect. Adebiyi emphasized that while there might be some “rationale” behind these theories, they could, however, pose serious dangers to the body and cause health complications.
