The PG in the making, Akajiugo denied reports that he has stepped down for Olybest and Alusi.

A lot of fake and misleading news stories were shared across social media during the Easter. One that got a lot of traffic had this headline: “AC Ebede has stepped down for Alusi and Olybest.” The story is completely false,  but it was shared on Facebook over many times.

We wondered who was behind that story and why it was written. It appeared on a FB timeline that had the look and feel of a local champion guy.

“At no time have I considered stepping down of my position for anybody, not Olybest and not Alusi,” Ebee Agulu said in a statement. “I have never quit anything in my life, and I am not going to start now. I am committed to leading the Agulu Community to a greater height if given the chance.”

AC Ebede denied the reports Monday. In a whatsApp voice note when chatting with Face Of Agulu, he said, “This is actually not true.”
