Koffee Wins Best Reggae Award At Grammys
Young Jamaican Reggae Musician Koffee makes history as she emerges the winner for “Best Reggae Album” with her EP Rapture at the Grammys.
Her win makes her the only female artist to win a Grammy under the best reggae category because it’s the first time a female has won a Grammy under the reggae category.
The five track album “Rapture” also got nominated with Julian Marley’s “As I Am”, Third World’s “more work to be done”, Sly & Robbie & Roots Radics’s “The Final Battle, Steel Pulse’s Mass manipulation.
Koffee’s award was based on the number of tracks she had on her album. A recording track must have at least five different tracks and a total playing time of fifteen minutes or a total playing time of at least 30 minutes with no minimum track requirement.
