The president-elect of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo is in a meeting with the President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari.
The special assistant to the president of Nigeria shared a short video of the meeting on his Twitter page.
The meeting which is behind closed doors is being held at the office of President Buhari at the President Villa, Abuja.
The President-Elect of Ghana left the country on Sunday, December 18, for a 3-day visit to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He shared on his official Facebook page that whilst in Nigeria, he expected to deliver the keynote speech at the 2016 Future of Africa Awards ceremony in Lagos.
So far on his visit…
The president-elect on Monday, December 19, joined Governor Rochas Okorocha, and the people of Imo State as the Special Guest of Honour at the celebration of this year’s Thanksgiving Day.
Also present at the event was former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, who had a close relationship with Ghana especially during the Kufuor administration.
He also had a meeting with together with President-elect Nana Akufo Addo as well.
The President-elect will return to Ghana on Tuesday, December 20, 2016.
