Valentine Ozigbo, a leading aspirant in the Anambra gubernatorial election, has reiterated his commitment to ensuring that Anambra State regains her lost glory.
Mr. Ozigbo made this commitment on Saturday, January 9, 2020 when he visited Orumba South constituency as part of his ongoing tour of the 30 constituencies in the state.
While, speaking at event which was hosted by Chief Uche Okoli and Chief Nwanze, Ozigbo expressed dissatisfaction with the status quo in the state, urging the people of Orumba South to rally support for his candidacy, as he has the requisite experience and know-how to galvanize human and capital resources to make Anambra great again.
Ozigbo, who is running for overnorship on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), went on to charge his party members in the constituency not to relent as they collectively work towards the goal of occupying Agu Awka come March 2022.
In keeping with the tradition of the season, the prominent philanthropist distributed bags of rice and other souvenirs to attendees at the visit.
Ozigbo was accompanied on the tour by senior members of his campaign organization, including a former member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Honorable Tim Egboka, a former Speaker of the Anambra State of Assembly and a two-time member of the Federal House of Representatives, Honorable Eucharia Azodo, among others.
Valentine Ozigbo’s tour of the 30 constituencies in Anambra State is scheduled to run through January 2021.
