Former Imo State Governor Achike Udenwa has reportedly broken his silence, declaring his support for Peter Obi and calling for an end to political attacks and attempts to create division among Ndigbo.
‎
‎According to Udenwa, remaining silent should never be mistaken for abandoning Obi. He stressed that everyone has the right to support a preferred candidate, but that political differences should not become an excuse for insults or division.
‎
‎He also recalled joining other prominent Igbo leaders in accompanying Peter Obi on engagements across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.

‎
‎His message was clear: “Because we want a better Nigeria, that is why we want Mr. Peter Obi to become President of Nigeria.”
‎
‎Political disagreement is normal. The conversation should remain focused on ideas, records and the future of Nigeria rather than personal attacks.
