The winner of MTN Hitmaker Season 7, OV has revealed that she gets financial and spiritual support from her boyfriend.

Okailey Verse popularly known as OV made history on 25th November as she was crowned the winner of MTN Hitmaker Season 7. She is the second female to emerge first at the MTN hitmaker after Freda Rhymes won the ultimate prize last year.

Ina n interview with Andy Dosty on on Hitz FM’s daybreak Hitz Show, the young talented singer disclosed that her boyfriend who lives in Germany and own his own restaurant has been supporting her with prayers and some money.

“My boyfriend supports my work with prayers and some coins” she said.

OV also reveled in the course of the interview that, at a point in her life she had to ‘die’ her hair (dreads) to green becauase Ghanaians started ‘tagging’ her as Ebony when her dread was grey.

“I have to die my hair green even though its not my favorite color because Ghanaians started pointing me to Ebony after I have died it grey. I wear dreadlocks because I have a problem with my skull”. she disclosed
