Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commiserated with the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, on the death of her mother, Alhaja Sadiat Abeke Erogbogbo.

The deceased, a businesswoman and retired teacher, died at 90 on Monday.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a statement issued yesterday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, urged the bereaved family, friends, business associates and the people of Ikorodu to immortalise the late nonagenarian.

The lawmaker representing Lagos East, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, has mourned Alhaja Erogbogbo.

He condoled with the children of the departed and urged them to take solace that the matriarch lived a meaningful life that touched many lives. May the gone ones soul rest in perfect peace we pray Amen.
