2022 brought about an unexpected turn of events in the music industry as live performances and touring were severed completely. The music industry however embraced this change in full throttle, leaning into digitization to influence music consumption and even discovery.  Now, adding the unheralded emergence of LORD EMEKA, 2022 promises to be an even more exciting year for the Nigerian In Diaspora music scene already revelling in an abundance of sounds.

His father, well known and recognized SAN, Emeka Okpoko-SAN, posted one of his son`s stage performances in Manchester and I was like, wow, who’s he? furtherance to my wow, in another post made in AGULU THINK TANK, I asked to know his name and immediately dig further to know more about him and what I found amazed me.  

He goes by the name LORD EMEKA. A Nigerian UK based rapper, hails from Agulu, in Anambra State and is a sharp talent to watch.
