Will Ndi Anambra and the religious right—be rewarded for their embrace of VALENTINE OZIGBO?

No man can serve two masters, the Bible teaches, but Valentine Ozigbo is giving it his all. It’s a sweltering June afternoon in Anambra, Awka, and the Elephant has returned to his home state to deliver the Good News under the umbrella of the PDP’ he recently unveiled plan for ndi Anambra.
Meanwhile, Valentine Ozigbo’s presence in Anambra State has been a boon for the religious right. Christian leaders across the South East point to his record on religious freedom and liken him to a prophet who will restore Anambra State to its rightful place at the center of Anambra life. If you ask me, I will say that, “Valentine Ozigbo is the 24-karat-gold model of what we want in Anambra politics. “I don’t know anyone who’s more consistent in bringing his evangelical-Christian worldview to public policy like Valentine Ozigbo.”
But what does Valentine Ozigbo make of his own improbable rise to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) frontrunner ahead of the November 2021 governorship election in Anambra State , and how does he reconcile his faith with if serving a state like Anambra State? Over the past several months, I’ve spoken with dozens of people who have known the Elephant, Valentine Ozigbo” throughout his life—from high school, university and longtime friends to trusted advisers and political foes. While many of them expressed surprise and even bewilderment at the heights of power Valentine had attained, those who know him best said he sees no mystery in why he’s in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) frontrunner ahead of the November 2021 governorship election in Anambra State. “If you’re Valentine Ozigbo, and you believe what he believes, you know God had a plan for ndi Anambra State,” says Dr. Justin Okechukwu Kingland (DrM), a UN (DESA) Change Ambassador for Peace and Humanity and the founder Anambra Needs Valentine Ozigbo.
Valentine Ozigbo is a Nigerian business mogul and philanthropist, He has so far showed absolute deference to the party PDP—and as a result he has become one of the most influential figures in the coming November 2021 governorship election in Anambra State, with a broad portfolio of responsibilities and an unprecedented level of autonomy. But for all his aw-shucks modesty, Valentine Ozigbo is a man who believes heaven and Earth have conspired to place him a heartbeat as he held a town hall meeting with the party leaders at the state, local government, and ward level and as if that was not enough, the following day he receives blessing of PDP Women Delegates and Pledges More Women Inclusion In Government.
For many of the attendees of both events, said, the most memorable moment came always when Valentine Ozigbo stood to speak and added that, Valentine Ozigbo is somebody who shares our views, shares our values, shares our beliefs, Valentine Ozigbo ga eme ka Anambra anyi Chawapu. #kaAnambraChawapu
